William Kiel Bobbitt, age 19 of 7745 Kuhn Rd. Greencastle, Pa. died unexpectedly at 8:34 A.M. Thursday May 1, 2008 in California, Pa., where he was a freshman student at the California University Of Pennsylvania.

Born November 30, 1988 in Loma Linda California, he was the son of Anthony J. "Tony" and Lori R. (Walker) Bobbitt of Greencastle, Pa.
He was a 2007 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School where he was a member of the soccer team, chorus, county chorus, senior class historian, peer group leaders and the drama club where he had leading roles in several drama productions. He served as an announcer and master of ceremonies at various school functions.

He had worked at Brothers Pizza and Nevins Furniture both of Greencastle.

Mr. Bobbitt was a member of the Salem Ridge Mennonite Church of Greencastle and also had attended Antrim Brethren In Christ Church near Chambersburg. He was involved in the church youth groups and on their praise and worship teams. He also was a member of Young Life and served on mission trips to Philadelphia and New York.
Mr. Bobbit was a member of his college Rugby team.

Surviving family in addition to his parents are:

Two sisters, Katy Bobbitt and Ema Bobbitt, both of Greencastle, Pa.

Paternal Grandmother, Shirley Bobbitt of Circleville, Ohio

Several Aunts And Uncles

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 7 at 2:00 P.M. from the Antrim Brethren In Christ Church 24 East Kauffman Rd. Chambersburg, Pa. with Pastor Joe Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Ridge Mennonite Church Cemetery near Greencastle. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5 - 8 P.M. at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle and at the church one hour before the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to help defray funeral expenses may be given to Tony & Lori Bobbitt 7745 Kuhn Rd. Greencastle, Pa. 17225 or to Young Life Of Franklin County 741 South Coldbrook Ave. Chambersburg, Pa. 17201. Online condolences may expressed to the family at www.zimmermanfh.com.
