Wannetta L. Christophel, age 40 of Greencastle, PA died at 1:15 PM Monday, July 13, 2015 in ManorCare Health Services of Chambersburg where she was a resident for the past two weeks.
Born January 29, 1975 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Wayde L. Sr. and Janet L. (Carbaugh) Christophel.
She performed cleaning services including the Macedonia United Brethren Church near Greencastle where she was a member.
Wannetta was a 1994 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School. She enjoyed being with her family and watching movies.
Surviving family are three brothers Wayde Christophel Jr., John W. Christophel, both of Waynesboro, PA, Philip A. Christophel, Greencastle, PA, nephews, Tyler and Jordan Christophel, Brandon Christophel, Hunter Henninger-McClure, one niece Kyra Todd, one great-neice Peyton Christophel and a number of Aunts & Uncles.
Funeral services will be held on Monday July 20 at 2:00 PM at the Macedonia United Brethren Church 11887 Worleytown Road Greencastle with Rev. Milton Herrold Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle, PA 17225 to help the family cover funeral expenses.
