Vivian M. Chamberlin, age 96 a resident of Providence Place of Chambersburg since February 2004 and formerly of Edward Dr. Greencastle died at 3:20 A.M. Saturday, November 24, 2012 in Providence Place.
Born January 26, 1916 in Greencastle, PA, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Helen (Wagner) Shrader.
She and her husband Daniel M. Chamberlin were married October 22, 1943. He died on January 2, 1999.
Vivian had worked at the former Stanley Co. of Chambersburg and was last employed at Lehman''s Egg Service of Greencastle. She had attended the Otterbein United Brethren Church in Greencastle. She was a 1937 graduate of Greencastle High School.
Vivian was the last of her immediate family and is survived by seven nieces. She was preceded in death by brothers Fred Shrader and Benjamin Shrader.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 28 at 11:00 A.M. from the Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg with Chaplain John Rauch officiating. There will be no public viewing. Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Otterbein United Brethren Church 146 Leitersburg St. Greencastle, PA 17225.
