Tony L. Barber

Tony Lynn Barber, age 42 of 297 Lincoln Way West Apt. 4 Chambersburg, Pa. died at 2:35 P.M. Tuesday, February 24, 2009 in the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born June 5, 1966 in Chambersburg, Pa. he was the son of Juanita K. (Myers) Cordell of Chambersburg and the late Arthur J. Barber.

He was employed at Knouse Foods of Chambersburg and had also worked at the former Fresh Express Co. of Greencastle. Tony enjoyed being with his mother''s dogs Poodie Alexis, Cinnamon Ann and BoBo. He also enjoyed watching dirt track car racing.

Surviving family in addition to his mother are his step-father Richard E. Cordell of Chambersburg, two sisters, Jasmine Cordell and Destiny Cordell both of Chambersburg and paternal grandmother Dorothy Barber, Three Springs Pa.

Funeral services will be held Friday February 27 at 11:00 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Pastor Emmert Banzhoff officiating. Burial will be in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens Chambersburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service on Friday.
