Thomas K. Sellers, age 70 of 9500 Antrim Church Rd. Greencastle, Pa. died at 7:44 P.M. Monday, August 25, 2008 in his home following an extended illness.

Born August 2, 1938 in Marion, Pa., he was the son of the late Earl F. and Sylvia A. (McCarney) Sellers.

He retired after 25 years at Mack Truck Hagerstown, Md. where he was a journeyman electrician. He also worked jobs for the Harrisburg Electricians Union Local #143 and was a member of the Local UAW Chapter # 171 of Hagerstown.

He was a member of the Antrim Brethren In Christ Church near Chambersburg and had more recently attended the Five Forks Brethren In Christ Church of Waynesboro.

Tom was a a member of the Mount Pisgah Masonic Lodge #443 F. & A.M. of Greencastle, member of the Harrisburg Consistory and a life member of the Rescue Hose Co. # 1 of Greencastle. He also was a member of the Mercersburg American Legion and a social member of the Harry D. Zeigler V.F.W. Post #6319 of Greencastle.

He performed for many years in the Rescue Hose Co. Minstrel Show in Greencastle and also at the former Minstrel Show in Waynesboro.

He enjoyed being with his grandchildren, hunting, spending time in the mountain, playing and coaching baseball and softball and last played in a local senior softball league.

Tom was a 1956 graduate of Greencastle High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 - 62.

He and his wife, Patricia L. (Rock) Sellers were married Sept. 9, 1961 in Hagerstown.

Surviving family in addition to his wife are: One son, Troy T. Sellers of Greencastle, one daughter, Beth A. Coleman of Greencastle. Two Brothers, Chris Sellers of Greencastle and Terry Sellers of Chambersburg. Three sisters, Louise Wentzel and Sherry Foreman, both of Chambersburg and Sylvia Barnhart of Denver, Pa. Two granddaughters, One grandson and one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 28 at 10:00 A.M. from the Antrim Brethren In Christ Church 24 E. Kauffman Rd. Chambersburg with Pastor David Rawley officiating. Burial will be in the Browns Mill Cemetery Kauffman. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 -8 P.M. at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle and at the church one hour before the service on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given in his memory to the Home Nursing Agency Attn: Hospice 761 Fifth Ave. Chambersburg, Pa. 17201 or to the Common Ground Youth Group of Otterbein United Brethren Church 146 Leitersburg St. Greencastle, Pa. 17225.
