Terry L. Musselman
Terry Lester Musselman, DPM, age 57 of Chambersburg, PA died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, March 2, 2015.
Born May 16, 1957 in Chambersburg, PA he was the son of Lester A. Musselman of Chambersburg and the late Jenevieve W. (Zeger) Musselman.
Dr. Musselman opened his family podiatry practice at the Grove Medical Center in Greencastle in 1983. He was a 1975 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School, 1979 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and a 1983 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.
Terry was a member, past president and past secretary of the Greencastle Lions Club. He was very active in Lionism having served as District Governor of District 14-T in 2003-04 and Council Chair from 2004-05. At the district level he served on and chaired numerous committees. At the Lions state level he served on the Global Membership Team and the Global Leadership Team. Currently he was involved with the USA/Canada Lions Leadership Committee and was the local chairman of the Lions Centennial Committee. Terry enjoyed attending Lion meetings at the district, state, national and international levels. He received the Progressive Melvin Jones Fellowship Award.
Terry attended the Ebenezer “Guitners” United Brethren Church of Greencastle. He was a volunteer with the American Cancer Society, member of the Conococheague Institute, member of the Middleburg /Mason Dixon Historical Society. He was President of the Kriner Family Reunion. He was very supportive of a number of local charities and he enjoyed playing his dulcimer at various community events.
Surviving family in addition to his father are one brother Thomas Musselman and wife Valerie of Plymouth, MI, two sisters Anna Lee Kopp and husband David of Greencastle, Nancy Linn of Gettysburg, PA, six nieces and nephews and one great-nephew.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 7 at 2:00 P.M. at the Ebenezer “Guitners” United Brethren Church 3661 Williamson Rd. Greencastle with Pastor David Grove officiating. Burial will be in the Browns Mill Cemetery Kauffman, PA. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle, PA and at the church one hour before the service on Saturday. For the convenience of friends, the funeral home will be open after 3:00 P.M. on Friday.
