Tara Lynn Leidig

Tara Lynn Leidig, age 22 of Muncy, Pa. died unexpectedly on Sunday afternoon October 4, 2009 in Muncy.

Born June 24, 1987 in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of Robert L. Leidig of Chambersburg and the late Robin (Fields) Leidig.

She attended Greencastle-Antrim Schools. In her younger years, she participated in dance with the Clarissa''s School of Performing Arts of Greencastle and also played on a baseball team in State Line.

Surviving family in addition to her father are three brothers, Robert Leidig Jr., Reading, Pa., James Leidig and Jesse Leidig, both of Greencastle, paternal grandmother Barbara Leidig, Greencastle, maternal grandparents May And Jim Garland, Hagerstown, Md., step-mother, Judy (Johnson) Leidig, Chambersburg, step-grandparents, Richard and Eleanor Johnson, Greencastle and one niece.

Funeral services will be held on Friday morning October 9 at 10:00 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home of 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Pastor Ky Searcy officiating. Burial will be in the Browns Mill Cemetery Kauffman. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 - 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
