Susan B. Stottlemyer Wolford, age 84 of West Walter Ave. Greencastle, PA died at 7:30 P.M. Monday, April 22, 2013 in ManorCare Health Services Chambersburg where she had been a resident since June 2012.

Born November 7, 1928 in Washington Twp. Franklin County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Benedict and Esther Viola (Barnett) Shank. Her husband Fred L. Stottlemyer died August 24, 1997.

Susan was a homemaker and was a member of the Antrim Brethren In Christ Church near Greencastle where she was a member of the Berean Sunday School Class. She was a former member of the Greencastle-Antrim Women''s Fellowship and Greencastle-Antrim Homemakers.

Susan worked the election polls in Shady Grove for many years. Her interests included sewing, quilting, camping, fishing, boating, reading and helping with scouting.

Susan graduated from the former Washington Township High School.

She and her second husband William H. Wolford were married on December 9, 2005.

Surviving family in addition to her husband are two daughters Linda S. (husband David) Baer, Greencastle, Mary E. (husband Ralph) Oldham, Crisfield, MD, four sons, James L. (wife Nancy) Stottlemyer, Waynesboro, Dale S. (wife Debra) Stottlemyer, Albuquerque, NM, Alan W. "Chip" (wife Sharon) Stottlemyer, Chambersburg, Barry R. (wife Mandy) Stottlemyer, Waynesboro, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by five sisters Fannie Hardeman, Ruth Shank, Minta Stinebaugh, June Shoemaker, Martha Monn and two brothers John Shank and Jay Shank.

Funeral services will be held on Friday April 26 at 10:00 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Rev. Ky R. Searcy officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6 - 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Berean Sunday School Class Missionary Fund at Antrim Brethren In Christ Church 24 East Kauffman Rd.
