Susan M. Horst

Susan M. Horst, age 46 of 10696 Five Forks Rd. Waynesboro, Pa. died at 12:08 P.M. Monday, March 16, 2009 in the Waynesboro Hospital.

Born November 2, 1962 in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of Ira M. and Ruth (Lehman) Miller of Clear Spring, Md.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Waynecastle Mennonite Church near Waynesboro.

She and her husband, James E. Horst were married January 29, 1983 in Clear Spring, Md.

Surviving family in addition to her parents and husband are two sons, Isaac D. Horst and Andrew L. Horst, both at home, one daughter Jenny M. Horst, at home, one brother, Robert L. Miller, Clear Spring, Md., two sisters, Charlotte R. Martin, Waynesboro, Pa., Erma J. Martin, Smithsburg, Md. and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Jay S. Horst and a brother David I. Miller.

Funeral services will be held on Friday March 20 at 10:00 A.M. from the Waynecastle Mennonite Church on Five Forks Rd. Waynesboro with the Waynecastle Mennonite Church Ministry officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 1-3 P.M. and 6 - 8 P.M. and one hour before the service on Friday. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Arrangements were handled by the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home of Greencastle.
