Stephen R Dubpernell

Stephen Rinn Dubpernell, 84, of Greencastle, PA passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 in his home.  Born March 18, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of the late John S. and Virginia A. (Rinn) Dubpernell.

He was a graduate of Westwood High School, Westwood, NJ with the Class of 1957.  Stephen then went on to serve with the United States Army from January 18, 1961 until his honorable discharge December 31, 1963.  He was a proud veteran throughout his life.

Stephen was employed as an IT Director for many years with Medcomp, Telford, PA.  He retired in 2013.  He enjoyed sailing, working on his Shelby Cobra Replica and taking it to car shows, cheering on the New York Giants, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Stine and her husband Glenn of Bangor, PA; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Jacob Stine; four siblings, Betty, Elle, Jinx, and John; and a number of nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two siblings, Dan and Vickie.

Services will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date.  Arrangements are by Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Greencastle, PA.
