Shirley J. Walck

Shirley J. (Myers) Walck, age 65 a resident of The Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville and formerly of Grant St., Greencastle died at 6:55 A.M. on Thursday, June 17, 2010 in the nursing home. She had been declining in health for the past nine months.

Born May 12, 1945 in Waynesboro, PA she was the daughter of the late Harvey H. and Vera (Heckman) Myers.

She and her husband, Glen A. Walck where married on November 10, 1962 at the Macedonia United Brethren Church near Greencastle. He died on October 11, 1999.

She was a member of the Berean Bible Fellowship Church in State Line, PA. She enjoyed helping at Camp Tohiglo in Mercersburg.

Surviving family are two daughters, Elissa M. Parsons of Greencastle, PA and Angelina M. Tressler of Jonestown, PA; two sons, Allen G. Walck and Kevin M. Walck both of Greencastle, PA; three granddaughters and two grandsons. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold H. Myers.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. from the Berean Bible Fellowship Church, 15811 South Young Rd., State Line, PA with Pastor W. Bruce Dick Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home, 45 S.
