Sarah E. Jordan, age 76, of 11259 Grant Shook Rd., Greencastle, PA. died at 6:16 A.M. on Monday, July 13, 2009 at her home. She had been in declining health the past six months.

Born October 23, 1932 in Millport, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Glen F. Wilson and Helen (Chase) Wilson Bailey. She was a certified nurse''s aid having worked in local nursing homes including Church Of God Home in Carlisle and last worked for Lutheran Home Care and Hospice of Chambersburg. Sarah was a graduate of Ernie Davis High School in Elmira, N.Y.

She attended Antrim Brethren In Christ Church near Chambersburg where she was a member of the Ladies Alive Sunday School Class. She enjoyed crocheting and doing puzzles.

Her husband Milton Jordan died on May 8, 2005.

Surviving family are three daughters, Joyce Maynard of Waynesboro, PA, SaraLynn Blessing of Mechanicsburg, PA. and Tammy S. Weller of Greencastle, PA., one son, Donald Drake, of Oregon, several brothers and sisters, nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 16 at 2:00 P.M. from the Antrim Brethren In Christ Church, 24 E. Kauffman Rd. Chambersburg with Rev. Ky R. Searcy officiating. Burial will be in the Shank''s Church Of The Brethren Cemetery of Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and one hour before the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be in her memory to the Lutheran Home Care And Hospice, 2700 Luther Dr., Chambersburg, PA. 17202. Arrangements were handled by the Harold M.
