Sandra J. “Sandy” Spalding, age 61 of Greencastle, PA past peacefully Monday morning October 27, 2014 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born April 9, 1953 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of Mary Janet (Kendle) Spalding of Greencastle and the late Charles Thomas Spalding Sr.
Sandy was the owner of the Nearly New Shop on South Carlisle St. in Greencastle for over 30 years. She was a 1971 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School.
Surviving family in addition to her mother are one son Andy Fetterhoff (Darah) of Ashley Falls, MA, one sister Rhonda LeAnn Christman of Chambersburg, one brother Charles T. “Chuck” Spalding Jr. of Greencastle and one granddaughter Suzume Misaki Fetterhoff of Ashley Falls, MA.
There will be a visitation for family and friends on Saturday November 1 from 6 – 8 PM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute P.O. Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284-9168 or online at www.dana-farber.org.
