Roy Landon Plank Jr., age 77 a resident of Quincy United Methodist Home the past 4 years and formerly of 10630 Burkett Rd. Greencastle and long time resident of Biglerville, Pa. died at 4:20 A.M. Tuesday July 3, 2007 in the nursing home.
Born February 27, 1930 in Adams County Pa., he was the son of the late Roy Landon and Mary (Kauffman) Plank.
Mr. Plank was a truck driver having driven for Gabler Trucking and In Land Express. He also was a long time orchardist and had last worked for the Waste Management Co.
Mr. Plank was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Arendtsville, Pa. and had attended the Otterbein United Brethren Church of Greencastle Pa. He was known as the "barrel man" from hauling 55 gal. drums and enjoyed hunting, country music, trucking and spending time with family.
He and his wife, Martha M. (Lindsay) Alger Plank were married February 3, 1990 in Greencastle, Pa.

Twin sons, Ronald Plank of Biglerville, Pa. and John Plank of York, Pa. and son Roy L. Plank III of Greencastle, Pa. two daughters, Wanda Warrenfeltz of Gardners, Pa. and Janice Bragunier of Chambersburg, Pa.
Three step-children, Virginia Cole, of Shippensburg, Pa., Steven Alger and Robert Alger, both of Greencastle, Pa.
Six brothers, Wayne Plank of Gettysburg, Pa., Merle Plank and Marshall Plank both of Biglerville, Pa., Kenneth Plank of Blakeslee, Pa., Elmer "Al" Plank, Columbia, TN., and Dallas Plank of York Springs, Pa.
Two Sisters, Dorothy Baker and Barbara Hostetter both of York Springs, Pa.
Number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren
Former wife, Stella Fox of Chambersburg, Pa. He was preceded in death by a brother Fred Plank.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 7 at 10:30 A.M. from the Trinity Lutheran Church 38 N. High St. Arendtsville, Pa. with Pastors David Rawley and Eugene Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Gettysburg, Pa. The family will receive friends at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle, Pa. on Friday evening from 6 - 8 P.M. and at the church one hour before the service on Saturday.
