Robert William “Bobby” Higgins, age 26 of South Washington St. Greencastle, PA died unexpectedly late Monday afternoon December 2, 2013 in his home. Born January 22, 1987 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of William S. and Darlene (Hykes) Higgins of Greencastle. Bobby was currently employed at Hub Labels of Hagerstown. He attended Greencastle-Antrim High School. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed spending time with his son. Surviving family in addition to his parents are one son Robert Landon Higgins of Greencastle, one brother Billijoe Higgins of Quincy, PA, one sister Katie Rose Higgins Barnett of Hesston, PA, maternal grandmother Rosalie C. (Leckron) Hykes of Greencastle, and one niece Aidan Higgins, Quincy, PA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Robert E. Hykes and paternal grandparents William L. and Catherine M. Higgins. Funeral services will be held on Friday December 6 at 10:00 AM from the Otterbein United Brethren Church 146 Leitersburg St. Greencastle, PA with Rev. David G. Rawley officiating. Burial will be in the Beautiful View Cemetery State Line. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 – 8 PM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle and at the church one hour before the service on Friday.
