Robert H. Miller

Robert H. Miller, age 78 of 38 Jeffrey Dr. Greencastle, Pa. died at 9:54 A.M. Wednesday July 2, 2008 in the Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown, Md. He had been in declining health for the past year.

Born February 8, 1930 in Greencastle, Pa. he was the son of the late Harry J. and Daisy V. (Coldsmith) Miller.

He was employed at Anvil Products (now Beck Manufacturing) of Greencastle. Mr. Miller was a member of the Antrim Assembly Of God Church of Greencastle and a member of the Rescue Hose Co. # 1 of Greencastle.

He also was a member of the Mercersburg Sportsman Association and the Chambersburg Rod and Gun Club.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being with his great-grandsons.

He and his wife, Hazel M. (Bryan) Miller were married July 17, 1948.

Surviving family in addition to his wife are:
One grandson, Rick L. Bingaman, Greencastle, Pa. Two great-grandsons, Austin and Blaine Bingaman, Greencastle, Pa. One brother, Charles R. "Joe" Miller, Greencastle, Pa. Three sisters, Irene Barbuzanes, Greencastle, Pa., Betty Myers, State Line, Pa. and Doris Statler of Chambersburg, Pa. Number of Nieces and Nephews

He was preceded in death by: two daughters, Anna Marie Miller on November 21, 1953 and Peggy Ann Bingaman on November 7, 1994, two sisters, Mary Tosten and Frances McDonald, and one Brother Harry "Buck" Miller.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 8 at 11:00 A.M. from the Antrim Assembly Of God Church 11192 Bemisderfer Rd. Greencastle with Pastor Renee Berkey officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle on Monday evening from 6- 8 P.M. and at the church one hour before the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in his memory to the Assembly Of God Church 11192 Bemisderfer Rd. Greencastle, Pa. 17225.
