Robert W. "Bob" Ernharth, age 49 of 235 Oak Lane Greencastle, PA. died unexpectedly on Saturday morning July 2, 2011 in the Waynesboro Hospital.

Born November 22, 1961 in Pittsburgh, PA., he was the son of William and Rita (Goddard) Ernharth of Pittsburgh, PA.
He was a mechanical engineer at Volvo Powertrain in Hagerstown, MD. having worked there for over 25 years. Bob attended St. Ann''s Catholic Church of Hagerstown and was a social member of the Harry D. Zeigler V.F.W. Post #6319 of Greencastle.

Bob graduated in 1979 from Langley High School near Pittsburgh and in 1983 from Penn State University in State College.

For three years he served as the head coach of the varsity Eagles midget football team. He also served as assistant coach in various little league and tournament softball leagues.

Surviving family in addition to his parents are Lisa Ernharth, mother of his daughter Christine Ernharth and son Stephen Ernharth, all of Greencastle, two sisters Linda (Mrs. Gregory) Wozniak and Diane Pritchard, all of Pittsburgh, three nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Frances Goddard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 8 at 10:00 A.M. from the St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church 395 S. Ridge Ave. Greencastle with Father Menniti officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5 - 8 P.M. at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle. Memorial contributions may be given in his memory to the GA-Maxx Capital Campaign For The Revitalization of Kaley Field C/O Greencastle-Antrim Chamber Of Commerce 217 East Baltimore St. P.O.
