Rev. Thomas A. Bouch Jr., age 94, a resident for over a year and half of The Village Of Laurel Run of Fayetteville, PA and formerly of 9767 Hades Church Rd. Greencastle, PA died at 3:28 P.M. Sunday, November 27, 2011 in the nursing home.
Born March 24, 1917 in Mahaffey, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas Arthur Sr. and Eleanor (Wolfe) Bouch.
He and his wife, Hanna E. (Waite) Bouch were married November 25, 1939 in Smithmill, PA. She died on January 5, 2004.
Thomas had served as Pastor in several Brethren In Christ Churches in Pennsylvania and Virginia. He was a member of the Antrim Brethren In Christ Church near Chambersburg where he also was a member of the Berean Sunday School Class. He was a prayer warrior for his church and family. He was a 1936 graduate of Reed Twp. High School.
Surviving family are three daughters Phoebe (wife of Leroy) Wingert, Greencastle, Grace (wife of Mark) Bert, Ruckersville, VA, Pamela (wife of Neal) Bert, Plano, TX, two brothers Blair Bouch, Blandburg, PA, Ron Bouch, Pennsylvania, three step-daughters, Betty, Mary, Ruth, 12 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son Thomas Bouch in 2009, his second wife of sixteen months Rhoda Harter Bouch and 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 3 at 10:30 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Rev. Ky R. Searcy officiating. Burial will be in the Air Hill Church Cemetery in Chambersburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 - 8 P.M. and one hour before the service on Saturday.
