Phyllis I. (Robinson) Ellzey, age 88 of Marion, PA died at 8:05 AM Friday March 14, 2014 in the Quincy Retirement Home.
Born July 10, 1925 in Greencastle, PA, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Margaret (Hartman) Robinson. Her husband John M. Ellzey died July 6, 1983.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Salem Lutheran Church of Marion. In her younger years, Phyllis enjoyed dancing at Penn Mar Park on Sunday afternoons. She attended Greencastle High School.
Surviving family are one son Lynn Ellzey and wife Patricia of Chambersburg, one sister Virginia Glass of Providence Place, Chambersburg, one granddaughter Andrea Harmon and one great grandson Skylar Ellzey.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers Richard L. “Dick” Robinson in 2010 and Glenn Robinson in 1981.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 18 at 2:30 PM from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Pastor Paul Clemmer officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service on Tuesday.
