Peggy L. (Jones) DeHass, age 86 a resident of The Shook Home in Chambersburg and formerly of Kansas City, Missouri died at 8:21 A.M. Saturday, August 4, 2012 in the nursing home.
Born September 10, 1925 in Hemingford, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Holbert and Elsie (Cole) Jones. Her husband William W. DeHass died on July 23, 2008.
Peggy was employed by Sears and Roebuck Co. in Kansas City, MS. She was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church in Kansas City.
Surviving family are two sons Rev. William W. DeHass of Chambersburg, Donald C. DeHass of Kansas City, MS, two grandchildren, sister Yvonne Robertson, Boise Idaho and a brother Dawane Jones, Yakima Washington.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family in Kansas City. Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Building Fund of the Trinity Lutheran Church 1186 Jason Dr. Greencastle, PA 17225. Arrangements were handled by the Harold M.
