Pearl L. (Hawbaker) Egolf, age 73 of 6900 Molly Pitcher Hwy. Chambersburg, Pa. and a resident of Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Chambersburg since June 27, 2007, died at 8:20 A.M. Thursday August 2, 2007 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born August 15, 1933 in Montgomery Twp. Franklin Co. Pa., she was the daughter of the late Levi M. and L. Katharine (Dentler) Hawbaker.
She was a homemaker and had served as secretary for the Tri-State Blue Grass Association in Brunswick, Md.
She and her husband, J. Daniel Egolf were married September 20, 1958. She enjoyed cooking and baking.
Surviving family in addition to her husband are:
Two sisters, Evelyn Burkholder and Lois Swope, both of Chambersburg, Pa.
Two step-brothers, Andy Bricker and Dean Bricker, both of Chambersburg, Pa.
Several Nieces and Nephews
She was preceded in death by three brothers Ellis O. Hawbaker, Aden L. Hawbaker, Bernard A. Hawbaker and a sister Bertha M. Byers.
Funeral services will be held on Monday morning August 6 at 10:00 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle, Pa. with Pastor Richard E. Egolf Jr. and Minister Carl W. Meyers officiating. Burial will be in the Browns Mill Cemetery Kauffman, Pa. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 7 - 9 P.M. at the funeral home
