Pauline E. Starr

Pauline Elizabeth (Clever) Starr, age 81, a resident of Falling Spring Nursing And Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, PA. and formerly of Williamson Rd., Greencastle, PA. died at 12:18 P.M. Wednesday, January 12, 2011 in the nursing center.

Born, January 7, 1930 in Mercersburg, PA., she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Pearl (Thomas) Clever.

Mrs. Starr was a homemaker and a member of the Maple Grove Church of God, Mercersburg, PA. She was a member of the Frank L. Carbaugh American Legion Post #373 Ladies Auxiliary of Greencastle, PA. She enjoyed crafts, gardening and playing Bingo.

Surviving family is her husband, Junior Starr of Chambersburg, PA., three daughters, Phyllis Baker of Clear Spring, MD, Vanessa Neely of Harrisburg, PA and Debbie Barnhart of Greencastle, PA. four sons, Dolan Starr and Donald Starr both of Greencastle, PA, Marvin Starr and Travis Starr both of Williamsport, MD., one sister, Bertha Keefer of Greencastle, PA., ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Myron and Daniel Starr and one brother Lloyd Clever.

Funeral services will be held on Monday January 17 at 11:00 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, PA with Rev. Gene Renner officiating. Burial will be in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6 - 8 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Lutheran Home Care And Hospice 2700 Luther Dr. Chambersburg, Pa. 17201.
