Pauline N. Myers

Pauline N. "Lena" Myers, age 77 of 11515 Nicole Dr., Greencastle, PA died at 3:30 P.M. Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at her home. She had been declining in health for the past month.

Born December 25, 1931 in Greencastle, PA she was the daughter of the late Daniel Bingaman Sr. and Frances (Hartford) Bingaman.

She and her husband, Walter S. Myers were married December 25, 1952 in Hagerstown, MD.

Mrs. Myers was a member of the Ebenezer "Guitners" United Brethren Church of Greencastle. She enjoyed attending bible study each week, cooking for her family, spending time with her grandchildren and being a homemaker. In her earlier years she worked at the former Stanley Company of Chambersburg.

Surviving family in addition to her husband are, four daughters, Diane Bricker, Trudy Buhrman, Julie Cowden, all of Greencastle, PA and Tina Clever of Marion, PA. One son, Jay Myers of Greencastle, PA. Two brothers, Donald Bingaman of Chambersburg, PA and Harold Bingaman of Indiana. One sister, Mae Duffey, of Waynesboro, PA. Nine Grandchildren and Several Nieces & Nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Danny Myers in 1964 and four brothers, Claude Bingaman, Daniel Bingaman Jr., Merle Bingaman and Ellis Bingaman.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 10, 2009 at the Ebenezer "Guitners" United Brethren Church, 3661 Williamson Rd., Greencastle with Pastors Richard Mose and James Mack officiating. Burial will be in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Harold M. Zimmerman & Son Funeral Home, Greencastle and one hour before the service on Friday at the church.
