Paul Eugene "Skip" Kiner, age 52 of 3799 Mercersburg Road Mercersburg, Pa. died at 5:15 P.M. Monday October 22, 2007 in his home. He had been in declining health since his illness began September 2005.

Born August 10, 1955 in El Paso Texas, he was the son of Paul Edgar Kiner of Carlisle, Pa. and Doris (Devore) Byers of Waynesboro, Pa.

He worked as a machinist at Tyco Electronics Corporation in Waynesboro before retiring in 2005 due to his illness.

He was a member of the Avengers Motorcycle Club of West Virginia. He and his wife, Cherie June (Shindle) Kiner were married in Winchester, Va. in July 31, 1987. He has lived in the Mercersburg area since 1991.

Surviving family in addition to his wife and his mother and father are:

Step-Father, Ronald Byers of Waynesboro, Pa.

Four children, Nicholas C. Sellers and Shane G. Sellers, both of Mercersburg, Pa., Adam Flood of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa. and Renee Bombita of Waynesboro, Pa.

Brothers, Doug Byers of Cumberland, Md., and Wayne Kiner of Madisonville, Tn.

Sisters, Lisa Snyder of Waynesboro, Pa., Chris Mena of Franklin,Tn. and Chris Lucas of Carlisle, Pa.

Four Granddaughters, Sabrina Marie Sellers of Mercersburg, Pa., Samantha, Raechel and Ericka Bombita of Waynesboro, Pa.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday October 28 at 2:00 P.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Pastor Eric Beck officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6 - 8 P.M. and one hour before the service on Sunday. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Hospice Of The Good Shepherd 2700 Luther Dr. Chambersburg, Pa. 17201 or to Ebenezer United Brethren Church 3661 Williamson Rd.
