Paul W. Adams Jr

Paul W. Adams Jr., age 58, of Dayton, OH, died at 2:15 A.M. Sunday, September 27, 2009 in the Dayton VA Medical Center, Dayton, OH.

Born April 24, 1951 in Waynesboro, PA he was the son of the late Paul W. Adams Sr. and Mary Jane (Byers) Adams.

Mr. Adams was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps serving in the Vietnam War. He was currently employed as a custodian for the Dayton VA Medical Center. He was a member of the American Legion Post 675 and a Life Member of V.F.W. Post 657 both of Dayton, OH. He enjoyed hunting, watching NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Surviving family are two sisters, Carolyn Adams of Roanoke, VA and Teresa Hollinger of Cody, WY; two brothers, Van Adams of Greencastle, PA and Jeff Adams of Washington D.C.; and a daughter, Heather Renee Cubbage. He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry R. Adams.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 2nd at 11:00 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle with Rev. Gayle L. Ruble Sr. officiating. Burial with military honors provided by the Chambersburg V.F.W. Post 1599 Honor Guard will be in the Browns Mill Cemetery, Chambersburg, PA.
