Patricia A. "Pat" Weisser, age 75 of Social Island Rd. Chambersburg, PA died at 8:16 P.M. Sunday, August 19, 2012 in the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence of Harrisburg, PA where she had been a resident for three days.
Born July 5, 1937 in Clarence Center, New York, she was the daughter of the late James and Edna (Utnehmer) Weisser. She retired from the National Gypsum Co. in Clarence Center and was currently working at Martin''s Potato Rolls in Chambersburg.
Pat was attending the Zion Covenant Church of Chambersburg. She was an honor society graduate from Clarence Center High School and attended Messiah College.
Surviving family are two sisters Sharon Lee Weisser, Chambersburg, and Joan Cialfi, Buffalo, NY, one niece Mary Cialfi, Buffalo, NY, two nephews James Cialfi, Syracuse, NY and Gregg Cialfi, Buffalo, NY
A funeral service will be held on Friday August 24 at 11:00 A.M. from the Zion Covenant Church 1102 Locust St. Chambersburg with Pastor Willy Dingledein officiating. The family will receive friends at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle on Thursday from 6 - 8 P.M. and at the church one hour before the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in her name to the Brethren Christ World Missions 431 Grantham Road, PO Box 390 Grantham PA 17027 or to American Cancer Society Hope Lodge 125 Lucy Ave. Hummelstown, PA 17036.
