Patricia A. "Patty" (Crider) Varner

Patricia A. “Patty” Varner, age 66 a resident of Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation and Wellness Center of Chambersburg died on Wednesday January 6, 2021 in the center.

Born August 19, 1954 in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter D. Sr. and Helen M. (Crum) Crider.

Patty had worked at OSI in Chambersburg and was a 1973 graduate of Chambersburg High School. She had attended the Open Door Church in Chambersburg and her hobbies included latch hook, word books and collecting stuffed animals.

Surviving family are one sister Donna L. Hollabaugh of Waynesboro; two brothers, Walter D. Crider Jr., Upper Strasburg, PA, Richard L. Crider of Chambersburg, three nieces, two great- nieces and 2 great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers Charles Crider and Henry Crider.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 13 at 1:00 PM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Pastor Ken Richards officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
