Olivia "Dolly" Hafer

Olivia M. "Dolly" Hafer, age 73 of 6452 Guitner Rd. Greencastle, PA. died unexpectedly at 4:52 A.M. Thursday, October 27, 2011 in the emergency room of the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born June 12, 1938 in Fannettsburg, PA., she was the daughter of the late Orville and Helen (Gehr) McLaughlin.

In her earlier years, she had worked at the former Citizens National Bank and also at Lehman''s Egg Service, both of Greencastle.

Dolly was a 1956 graduate of Greencastle High School. She was a member of the Ebenezer "Guitners" United Brethren Church of Greencastle where she helped in the making of prayer shawls.
She and her husband, Fred E. Hafer were married March 21, 1959.

Surviving family in addition to her husband are one son, Brain E. and wife Joanne Hafer of Greencastle, two granddaughters, Jessica Hafer and Carly Hafer and several cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Monday October 31 at 10:00 A.M. from the Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg with Pastor David Grove officiating.
