Nellie G. Kauffman, age 80 a resident of the Heritage Hills Retirement Community on Shanks Church Rd. Greencastle, PA died at 10:05 A.M. Tuesday, November 27, 2012 in the emergency room of the Waynesboro Hospital.
Born March 6, 1932 in New Franklin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Amelia Carbaugh.
She had worked at the former Baer Packing Co. of Greencastle.
Surviving family are two daughters Janet Weyant and Patricia "Ann" Carmack, both of Chambersburg, one son, Roger L. Kauffman, Harrisburg, PA, one brother Joseph Carbaugh, Delaware, 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, James E. Kauffman, Charles W. Kauffman and a daughter Betty Bartholow.
Funeral services will be held on Monday December 3 at 11:00 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Rev. Leon Yoder officiating.
Burial will be in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service on Monday. Online condolences may be expressed at www.zimmermanfh.com
