Mildred E. Shover

Mildred Elizabeth Shover, age 66 of 10984 Fort Stouffer Rd. Greencastle, Pa. died at 11:45 P.M. Saturday, September 26, 2009 in her home.

Born January 16, 1943 in West Pennsboro Twp. Cumberland County Pa., she was the daughter of the late David E. and Mary E. (Charlton) Shover and the granddaughter of the late Rev. Walter F. and Alice (Burkholder) Charlton.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Waynecastle Mennonite Church near Waynesboro.

Surviving family are one brother Harold E. Shover of Greencastle, one aunt Cora Charlton, Hagerstown and number of cousins. She was preceded in death by one brother D. Marlin Shover in 1996.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 30 at 10:00 A.M. from the Waynecastle Mennonite Church 10617 Five Forks Rd. Waynesboro with the Waynecastle Mennonite Church Ministry officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 1 - 3 P.M. and 7 - 9 P.M. and one hour before the service on Wednesday. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Arrangements are in charge of the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home of Greencastle.
