Melvin "Arliss" Yoder

Melvin “Arliss” Yoder of Greencastle, PA entered his eternal home on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. He was born September 25, 1950 in Oakland, MD.

He was released into the arms of Jesus by his wife, Janet (Clugston) Yoder whom he married May 13, 1972, and his children:  Regina “Jeanie” and Rodney Martin, Bradford PA and children: Janette, Tony, Durrell, Monte, Lacee and Cameron; Terry and Kristina (Miller) Yoder, Greencastle, PA and children: Erika, TJ and Erin Kenton and Cheryl (Kurtz) Yoder, Pocomoke, MD and children: Duncan, Winston, Camdyn and Reghan.

He is also survived by his siblings, Loretta (David Sr) Steinhauer, Leona Bender and Merlin (Carol) Yoder. He was preceded in death by his parents Ervin H. and Mary Anna (Bender) Yoder, step mother Arletha Bender Yoder, grandparents and brother-in-law Loren Bender.

He was a member of Grace Haven Mennonite Church. He loved his Lord Jesus, his wife and family and many others so well. He loved like Jesus.

Viewings will be held from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Sunday May 16, 2021 with the funeral being on Monday May 17, 2021 at 10 am with a viewing one hour before the service, all at the Chambersburg Mennonite Church, 1800 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
