Matthew Evans Eyler, age 44, of Hagerstown, MD. died Tuesday morning, November 20, 2007 in Hagerstown, MD.
Born June 18, 1963 in Chambersburg, PA he was the son of the late Paul Evans Eyler, Jr. and Marie (Kauffman) Boyer of Boonsboro, MD. and stepson of the Rev. Carroll L. Boyer of Boonsboro, Md.
He was a 1981 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and attended Shepherd University, Shepherdstown, WVa. He was a member of the AMVETS Post #10 of Hagerstown, MD.
Surviving family in addition to his mother are:
Brother, Michael Eyler of Falling Waters, WVa.
Niece, Caitlin Eyler of Falling Waters, WVa.
Aunt, Mary Eyler of Waynesboro, PA.
A Number of Cousins
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Horace and Hazel Kauffman, and paternal grandparents, Paul and Louella Eyler.
Graveside services will held on Monday, November 26, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Buchanan Trail West, Greencastle, PA with Pastor Ray Roberson officiating.
