Mary H. Slothour

Mary H. Slothour, age 93 of 27 Slothour Rd. Chambersburg, Pa. died at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 3, 2008 in her home.

Born November 18, 1914 in Chambersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Edward and Bertha (McKenzie) Helman.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, Browns Mill District. Her husband, S. Roy Slothour died November 1, 1995.

Surviving family are:
One son, Donald ( Margaret) Slothour, Marion, Pa.

Two daughters, E. Marie ( Allen) Huffman, Dayton, Ohio and Rosalind S. ( Laban) Myers, Chambersburg, Pa.

Fifteen Grandchildren & Sixty-three great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 A.M. from the Browns Mill Meeting House on Grindstone Hill Rd. Chambersburg with the Home Brethren officiating. Burial will be in the Browns Mill Cemetery Kauffman Station. A viewing will be held on Sunday evening from 5 - 9 P.M. at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle, Pa. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
