Mary E. Gayman, age 83 of Greencastle, Pa. died at 4:45 P.M. Monday January 14, 2008 in the Waynesboro Hospital.
Born January 19, 1924 in Antrim Twp. Franklin Co. Pa., she was the daughter of the late Henry S. and Hattie (Crunkilton) Gayman.
She worked for the former J.J. Alleman Electric Co. of Greencastle and retired from the former Corning Glass Works also of Greencastle. Miss Gayman was a member of the Greencastle Church Of The Brethren.
In her earlier years she served as a Girl Scout leader. She was a 1942 graduate of Greencastle High School. She enjoyed traveling.

One brother, Harold C. Gayman, Fayetteville, Pa.
Seven Nephews and Five Nieces.
She was preceded in death by a brother Charles C. Gayman and a sister Maud G. Myers.
Funeral services will be held on Friday January 18 at 11:00 A.M. from the Greencastle Church Of The Brethren 36 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Rev. Leon R. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in the Shanks Church Of The Brethren Cemetery near Greencastle. There will be no public viewing but the family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Greencastle Church Of The Brethren 36 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle, Pa. 17225.
