Mary A. Stoops Gallion

Mary A. Stoops Gallion, age 91 a resident of the Falling Spring Nursing And Rehabilitation Center Chambersburg and formerly of Greencastle went to be in Glory Land at 1:00 P.M. Friday January 21, 2011.

Born November 6, 1919 in Blue Rock, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Marie J. (Utz) Fleagle.

Mary had worked at the former H.J. Heinz Co. Chambersburg, Musselman Co. of Biglerville and Sylvania Shoe Co. of Waynesboro.
She attended the Greencastle Church of God and was a member the Blue Rock United Brethren Church of Waynesboro.

Her first husband Richard P. Stoops died April 8, 1976 and her second husband Marshall W. Gallion Sr. died February 28, 1994.

Surviving family are one son Lee E. and wife Edith Stoops, Greencastle, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was the last of her immediate family.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 25 at 1:00 P.M. from the Greencastle Church Of God 4480 Buchanan Trail West Greencastle with Revs. Floyd Myers and Robert Fortney officiating. Burial will be in the Green Hill Cemetery Waynesboro. The family will receive friends at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S.
