Mary "Jane" Finafrock
Mary "Jane" Finafrock, age 84, a resident of ManorCare Health Services, Chambersburg and formerly of 235 South Ridge Ave. Apt. A, Greencastle, died at 10:47 PM, Sunday, April 22, 2007 in the nursing home where she had been declining in health for the past week.
Born September 18, 1922 in Greencastle, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Edith (Beard) Hoover.
She and her husband, William M. Finafrock of Greencastle where married May 30, 1969 in Saint James, MD.
She retired from the former Anvil Products of Greencastle where she worked in the shipping department.
Mrs. Finafrock was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Greencastle. She enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, attending craft shows, and spending time with her family.
She was a 1941 graduate of the Greencastle High School.
Surviving family are:
One Daughter, Ginger (Wife of Bryan) Sipes of Chambersburg, PA.
Two Sons, John W. Finafrock of Melbourne, FL and Carl J. (Husband of Donna) Finafrock of Falling Waters, W.Va.
One Brother, Donald Hoover of Greencastle, PA.
Nine Grandchildren, Four Great Grandchildren and Four Great Great Grandchildren.
Several Nieces and Nephews
She was preceded in death by one grandson, two sisters, and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle with Rev. Stacy Crawford officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the services on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Building Fund of the First United Methodist Church, 45 N. Washington St., Greencastle, PA 17225.
