Marvin Curtis Brashear
Marvin Curtis “Curt” Brashear, age 50 of Chambersburg, PA died Thursday evening November 20, 2014 at the scene of an automobile accident at the intersection of Route 997 and Scotland Main St. near Chambersburg.
Born January 21, 1964 in Hammond, IN, he was the son of Marvin J. and Barbara A. (Lehman) Brashear of Chambersburg. He was currently employed as a truck driver for Central Transport of Hagerstown, MD.
Curt was a 1983 graduate of Chambersburg Area High School. He was a member of the Chambersburg Baptist Church and he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, surviving family are one Aunt Mary J. Tribble of Chambersburg, two uncles, Nolan Brashear of Berwick, LA and Myron Brashear of Luling, TX.
Funeral services will be held on Friday November 28 at 11:00 AM from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle Rev. Kenny J. Craig officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours before the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in his memory to the Chambersburg Baptist Church 588 South Second St. Chambersburg, PA 17201.
