Marlene S. (Weller) Roadcap, age 76 of Greencastle, PA died at 9:10 P.M. on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Menno Haven in Chambersburg where she had resided the past several months.
Born July 12, 1938 in Millersburg, Dauphin County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Minnie S. (Shrawder) Weller. She married Melvin E. Roadcap on June 6, 1959.
Marlene had worked as the manager of the Corning Credit Union in Greencastle and the Washington County Hospital Credit Union in Hagerstown.
She attended the Five Forks Brethren In Christ Church near Waynesboro. Marlene was formerly a member of the Greencastle-Antrim Lioness Club, Greencastle-Antrim Women’s Fellowship and Greencastle-Antrim Homemakers. She was a 1956 graduate of Millersburg High School.
Surviving family in addition to her husband of 55 years are one son Rodney Roadcap and wife Cheri of Greencastle, two grandchildren, Megan and Christopher Roadcap of Greencastle, one brother Leroy Weller Jr. of Millersburg, PA and one sister Barbara Weller of Millersburg, PA.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home in Greencastle with Pastor Bill Shank officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. Private interment will be in the Browns Mill Cemetery Kauffman, PA. The family requests the omission of flowers and memorial contributions be given in her memory to Five Forks Brethren In Christ Church 9244 Five Forks Rd. Waynesboro, PA 17268.
