Margaret K. Lesher, age 96 a resident of Penn Hall Nursing Center Chambersburg and formerly of 12710 Grant Shook Rd. Greencastle, Pa. died at 1:00 A.M. Friday March 23, 2007 in the nursing center.
Born March 26, 1910 in Waynesboro, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Harry B. and Media A. (Frantz) Miller.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Shanks Church of The Brethren near Greencastle.
She and her husband, Ross Lesher were married November 28, 1934. He died on October 27, 1989.
Surviving family are:
One Daughter, Doris Marie Lesher, a resident of Penn Hall Chambersburg
One Sister, Lorraine Stine, of Greencastle
A number of Nieces and Nephews
She was preceded in death by sisters Irene M. Brindle, Elsie V. Wishard and a brother Arthur Miller.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 27 at 2:00 P.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Rev. John Shelly officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service on Tuesday.
