Lou Keller Sollenberger, age 70, a resident of Falling Springs Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, PA. and formerly of Hagerstown, MD. died at 2:52 A.M., Saturday, May 12, 2007 in the nursing center.
Born July 12, 1936 in Greencastle, PA. she was the daughter of the late Carrie (Mummert) Martin and step-daughter of the late Ira Martin Sr.
She and her husband, John R. Sollenberger were married February 1968. He died March 26, 1978.
Mrs. Sollenberger was a homemaker and attended the Otterbein United Brethren Church of Greencastle. She was a 1954 graduate of the Greencastle High School.
Surviving family are:
One daughter, Carrie V. Yoder of Mercersburg, PA., One Son, John R. Sollenberger II of Clear Spring, MD.
One Step Daughter, Lisha Bikle of Boonsboro, MD., One Step Son, Alvey Sollenberger of Sharpsburg, MD.
One Sister, Jean Johnston of Greencastle, PA., One Brother, Douglas E. Keller of Lewisburg, PA.
Four Grandchildren and Three Step Grandchildren
Step-Sisters, Hazel Angle, Cearfoss, MD., Elsie Bingaman, Waynesboro, PA.
Step-Brothers, George Martin, Hagerstown, MD. and Leroy Martin of Florida

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Reese in 1993 and a step-sister Margaret Palmer and a step-brother Ira Martin Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 16 at 11:00 A.M. from the Otterbein United Brethren Church 146 Leitersburg St. Greencastle, PA. with Pastor David Rawley officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 P.M. at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle and at the church one hour before the service on Wednesday.
