Linda F. Stitely

Linda F. Stitely, age 73, of Greencastle, PA, went home to be with the Lord at the Chambersburg Hospital on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Born in Stoystown, PA on February 16, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Frank D. and Martha Ebersole Shaffer.

Ms. Stitely was a 1969 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim Senior High School. She worked as a foot reflexologist. She was a member of the Dunkard Brethren Church in Chambersburg, PA. Linda enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and friend, cooking and baking.

Surviving are three children, Mark Stitely (wife Angie) of Greencastle, PA, Bryan Stitely of Greencastle, PA, and Karla Jones (husband David) of Greencastle, PA; two grandchildren, Jeffrey and Amanda Jones; and a brother, Myron Shaffer (wife Joyce) of West Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Angeline Mallow and Frank E. Shaffer.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 11 AM at the Upton Church of the Brethren, 8490 Warm Spring Rd., Greencastle, PA, where Pastor Ray Stuber will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 6 – 8 PM in the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, PA 17225. Interment will follow the service in the adjacent church cemetery.
