Leonard Statler “Gelly” Gelsinger Jr.
Leonard Statler “Gelly” Gelsinger Jr., age 88 of Williamson, PA died unexpectedly on Saturday afternoon June 18, 2016 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born August 17, 1927 in Williamson, PA, he was the son of the late Emmanual Leonard and Erma (Statler) Gelsinger.
He was employed as a plumber with Edward S. Zarger Plumbing and Heating of Greencastle most of his life.
Gelly was a member of the Mercersburg American Legion and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting, listening to bluegrass music, playing the dobro and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving family are one son Edward R. Gelsinger and daughter-in-law Denise of Waynesboro, one daughter, Tinna M. Daley and son-in-law Thomas of State Line, PA, one granddaughter Megan Gelsinger, two grandsons Weston Daley and Keaton Daley and companion of more than 20 years Marian Davis.
