Leona Pearl (Wible) Frain, age 84 of Greencastle, PA died at 4:59 PM Tuesday, December 13, 2016 in the Waynesboro Hospital.
Born August 1, 1932 in Three Springs, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Fannie (Stains) Wible. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward A. Frain Jr. on November 23, 1984 and by a son Landis Frain on May 14, 2012.
Leona was a homemaker and worked over 30 years at Lehman’s Egg Service near Greencastle retiring at the age of 80. She was a member of the Antrim Brethren In Christ Church near Greencastle.
She is survived by a nephew she raised as a son, Charles Elwood Wible and wife Darlene of Chambersburg, daughter, Jolene Reigh of Zullinger, daughter, Wanda Frain of Greencastle, daughter-in-law, Katherine Frain of Waynesboro, one brother Albert Wible of Hustontown, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be held on Monday December 19 at 11:00 AM at the Cherry Grove Church of God in Three Springs, PA with Rev. Ky Searcy officiating. Burial will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery in Three Springs, PA. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S.
