Leona A. (Wehry) Davis Grove

Leona A. “Lee” (Wehry) Davis Grove, age 94 of Greencastle, PA died Thursday afternoon December 8, 2016 in the Penn Hall Nursing Center in Chambersburg, PA.

Born May 11, 1922 in Pitman, Schuylkill County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Cicely (Wetzel) Wehry. She married Dwight L. Grove in 1971. He died on March 25, 2000.

She was an avid golfer having played at the Waynesboro Country Club. Leona had attended the Cedar Grove Mennonite Church near Greencastle.

Surviving family are one son James D. Davis of Camp Hill, PA, four grandchildren, sisters, Edith Wolfe and Dertha Sporik, brothers, Joseph Wehry and Chester Wehry.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday December 15 at 10:30 AM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle, PA with Pastor Dennis Stutzman officiating. Burial will be in the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Harrisburg, PA. There will be no public viewing. Memorial contributions in her memory may be given to any local Hospice organization.
