Larry E. Fuss

Larry E. Fuss, age 67 of 11547 Englewood Rd. Hagerstown, Md. died unexpectedly at 2:30 P.M. Thursday, May 28, 2009 in Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Md.

Born July 4, 1941 in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of the late Lambert W. and S. Louise (Pentz) Fuss.
He retired from Manitowoc Crane of Shady Grove after 34 years employment. In his earlier years, he was an x-ray technician at Waynesboro Hospital and for Dr. Patalinghug.

Larry attended Harvest Baptist Church of Hagerstown and was a life member of the Rescue Hose Co. No. #1 of Greencastle and a member of the Fraternal Order Of Eagles of Hagerstown. He was a 1959 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School. He enjoyed reading, history, gardening, watching birds and traveling.

Surviving family are his wife and best friend of 22 years, Shirley K. (Crist) Fuss, son, Brian C. Fuss, Ellicott City, Md., daughter, Cindy L. Fuss, Harrisburg, Pa., step-sons, Timothy Crist, Hagerstown and Gregory Barnhart, Clear Spring, Md., grandson Brandon Barnhart, whom he was helping to raise, grandchildren Ellen, Craig, Sarah, Tyler, Callie, Natalie, Alaina, step-mother Mildred L. (Hartman) Glaser Fuss,, Chambersburg, two step sisters and one step brother.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning June 2 at 11:00 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Pastor Jim Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 - 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
