Larry A. Angle
August 21, 1939 — February 9, 2014
Mr. Larry Albert Angle, 74, of Greencastle, died Sunday afternoon, February 9, 2014, at Chambersburg Hospital. He was the husband of Mrs. Catherine C. Neri Angle, her husband of 10 years.
Born August 21, 1939, in Welsh Run, he was the only child of the late Albert and Beulah Angle.
He retired with 42 years of service from Grove Manufacturing Company, Shady Grove.
Larry was a member of First United Methodist Church, Greencastle. Additionally, he was a member of Harry D. Zeigler, Post 6319, VFW; Frank L. Carbaugh Post 373, American Legion; and Mason-Dixon Corvette Club.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters, April L. Smith and husband Chris of Hagerstown, and Holly A. Blubaugh and husband Travis of Greencastle; step-sons, Cory Swope of Maine, and Kevin Swope and wife Jacinta of Chambersburg; as well as grandchildren, Hunter, Addison, Dalton, Garrett, Kruz and Jude; and numerous cousins. Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his first spouse, Nancy A. Angle, who died on February 11, 1990.
The family will receive friends at Harold M. Zimmerman & Son Funeral Home, 45 South Carlisle Street, Greencastle, on Wednesday, February 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be on Thursday morning, February 14, 2:00 PM, at the funeral home. His pastor, Rev. Stacy A. Crawford will officiate. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
