Kathryn L. (Barnhart) Stotler, age 85 a resident of Menno Haven Chambersburg for over a year and formerly of Buchanan Trail West Greencastle, Pa. died at 10:35 A.M. Wednesday August 15, 2007 in Menno Haven.

Born September 8, 1921 in Antrim Twp. Franklin Co. Pa. she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Clara (Spangler) Barnhart.

She was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm. Mrs. Stotler was a member of the Greencastle Church Of The Brethren where she was a children''s Sunday School teacher, member of the Berean Sunday School class, served as a deaconess and a member of the Womens Fellowship.

She enjoyed embroidery, sewing and helped in making quilts for the church.
She and her husband, Harry V. Stotler were married April 12, 1941 in Hagerstown, Md. He died on November 26, 1994.

Surviving family are:

Two sons, R. Daniel Stotler of St. Thomas, Pa. and Larry E. Stotler of Greencastle, Pa.

Two daughters, Mary Louise Kendle of Mercersburg, Pa. and Lois M. Covel of Kouts, Indiana

One sister, Marie Sheffler of Waldorf, Md. and one brother Robert Barnhart of Shady Grove, Pa.

Seven Grandchildren and Eight great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by three sisters and by one brother.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 21 at 10:00 A.M. from the Greencastle Church Of The Brethren 36 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Pastor Leon R. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle on Monday evening from 7 - 9 P.M. and at the church on hour before the service on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Mission Team of the Greencastle Church Of The Brethren 36 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle, Pa. 17225.
