Karen Dee Vandrew

Karen Dee Vandrew, age 51, passed away at 12:26 AM Sunday, November 13, 2016 in her home on Maribeth Dr. Chambersburg, PA.

Born August 24, 1965 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of M. Lorraine (Talhelm) Vandrew, a resident of the Shook Home Chambersburg and the late Earl J. Vandrew.

Karen worked at OSI of Chambersburg and was a graduate of the Franklin Learning Center of Chambersburg. She attended the Clay Hill Union Sunday School and then the Heidelberg Church in Marion. Karen enjoyed bowling, NASCAR, cards and stickers.

Surviving family in addition to her mother are one brother William E. Vandrew and wife Mary Lou of Marion, PA, one sister, Donna Lee Vandrew Davis and  late husband Edward G. Davis Sr. of Hagerstown,  one aunt June Vandrew Dunn of West Virginia, two nieces, Lisa D. Meyers of Chambersburg, Aletta L. Davis of Maugansville, MD, three nephews, Kirk E. Davis of Gettysburg, PA,  Tony V. Davis of Houston, TX, Edward G. Davis Jr. of Greencastle, five great nieces , seven great-nephews and care givers Leroy and Michelle Bunker of Chambersburg.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 17 at 11:00 AM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Rev. David Riley officiating. Burial will be in the Browns Mill Cemetery Kauffman, PA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in her memory to Heidelberg Church 166 Colorado St., P.O Box 381 Marion, PA 17235 or to SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care and Hospice 2700 Luther Dr. Chambersburg, PA  17202.
