John T. Carlson

John T. Carlson, 68, of Greencastle, PA, passed away Sunday morning, December 25, 2022 at the Chambersburg Hospital.  Born March 22, 1954 at Sampson Air Force Base in Romulus, NY, he was a son of Joanna DeSio Carlson and the late Jack Carlson.  A professional firefighter, John started his firefighting career in New York and retired from Raven Rock Fire and Emergency Services.  John enjoyed fishing and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Ramona Freshman Carlson, whom he married June 21, 2003; his daughter, Tara Marcuccilli, her husband Tony, and their children Killian, Ireland, Jack, and Theo; his son, Derek Carlson, his wife Jennifer, and their children Owen and Zoey; his step-daughter, Elizabeth Ogden, her husband Daniel, and their son Mason; his sister Kathy; and four brothers, Ronnie, Steve, Chris, and Craig.
