Joan I. (Scott) Miller, age 76 a resident of the Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Chambersburg, Pa. and formerly of 265 North Carlisle St. Greencastle died at 3:10 P.M. Saturday March 29 in the nursing center.
Born December 11, 1931 in Franklin County Pa., she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lula (Unger) Scott.
She was a homemaker and had worked for 39 years at the former Waynesboro Knitting Mill. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Greencastle Church Of The Brethren and was also a member of the Berean Sunday School Class. She also was a member of the National A.A.R.P. She attended school in Zullinger and enjoyed going on bus trips.
She and her husband, Charles K. "Ken" Miller were married on January 15, 1954. He died on April 4, 1993.

One step-son, Garry E. Miller of Greencastle, Pa.
Foster Daughter, Beverly Baer, Waynesboro, Pa.
Six step-grandchildren, nine step-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by an infant son Steven Kenneth Miller in 1959, step-sons Charles R. Miller and Ronald L. Miller and five brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 2 at 2:00 P.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle, Pa. with Rev. Leon R. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 -8 P.M.
